75% refund will be given if a team pulls out 3 weeks prior to the event.

By playing in our leagues, competitions, tournaments or any other event organized by FootballFix, all teams, players and spectators understand that if they do not follow our Code of Conduct, all rules, regulations and policies, FootballFix will decide if their continued involvement is in the best interest of our competition.

New Rules:      It is compulsory for all players to be registered in the team on the league management system.                           

In Mixed 5 A Side games, a female scoring a goal counts twice (Excludes Penalty Kicks)

                           2 Ball Rule - It's the responsibility of the players to shoot accurately and not to clear the ball irresponsibly. Football Fix will provide 2 balls per match, if a player kicks a ball over the fence, they or the teams sub must immediately go fetch it before the spare ball will be provided. If no subs are available the player who kicked the ball over should be responsible for collecting it. The referee may pause the game for 30-60 seconds to prevent the team playing short. If the 2 balls are lost teams must provide their own ball. Discounts

Any team playing in 2 competitions across different leagues or on the same night (5, 6, 7 or 8-a-side) will receive a 15% discount for the second team which will be loaded into the teams statement which can be used for the following season only once both teams are fully paid by the 3rd week of league.
* There must be at least 7 players loaded & registered in both teams in order to qualify for this discount.
Any team referring a brand new, paying team into the competition will receive a 15% rebate off team fees for the current season

FINE PRINT …

 Below are the terms and conditions of business by which FOOTBALL FIX accept participants to their events. Participants include individuals and teams who wish to take part in any FOOTBALL FIX competition. We do not accept participants on any other terms. These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. 

1.     CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION 

1.1.    When a team joins a FOOTBALL FIX league either by phone, internet or post they are forming a contract subject to these Terms and Conditions with FOOTBALL FIX and are committing to the duration of at least one season 8 - 16 weeks, whichever is the longer period.

1.2.    Participants agree to abide by the League and Playing Rules as published on the website and sent to the nominated captain upon entry.

1.3.    FOOTBALL FIX reserve the right to refuse entry of any Participant, team or organisation from its competition without giving a reason; or exclude any Participant, team or organisation from its competition for breaches of these Conditions or of the Playing Rules or in respect of any misconduct whatsoever by its team Participants or supporters or associates of the same.

1.3.1 Any teams looking to gain an unfair advantage by creating "super squads" which is done by enticing / recruiting players from other FootballFix teams to join their team may be removed from our leagues. All players should pay their own way unless sponsored by a company, in which they should all be employees of.
 

1.4.    BEFORE YOUR GAME

1.4.1. Teams are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled kick off times, find the field they are playing on an await for there fixture.

1.4.2. Teams must be on the pitch and ready to begin the match at the appointed kick-off time.

1.4.3. If a team is more than 4 minutes late their opponents, and where the game may not be extended afterwards due to league constraints,  the present team may claim 1 GOAL start, every additional 4 minutes the team will be awarded another goal i.e 4min late = 1 goal, 8min late = 2 goals etc... and at the managers discretion a 3 – 0 win (and a possible deduction of 3 points to the loser for forfeiting the game if the game cannot be started after 10-12min)

2.     REGISTRATION NUMBERS AND PLAYING NUMBERS

2.1.    Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis (Deposit must be paid to secure your spot)
2.1.1 - Certain team names will be rejected and asked to be changed if we feel they will be considered offensive.

2.2.    A set number of teams can be accepted into the competition and any Teams that miss out will be placed on a waiting list.

2.3.   It is the responsibility of the team organizer to register all of their players on to the league management system before the start of the first game

2.4.   You can continue to register players throughout the competition

2.5.   Teams may register up to 15 Players for league, however

2.5.1.  For 5-A-Side league a maximum of 10 players per game may be used per game
   For 6-A-side league a maximum of  11 players per game may be used per game   
   For 7-A-Side leagues a maximum of 12 players per game may be used per game
   For 8-A-Side leagues a maximum of 13 players per game may be used per game

2.6.    Players must play three games for their team to be eligible to participate in semi-finals and finals.
  2.6.1 Based on a 10-16 week league

Registered Players

2.7.    If a team is short or if a player is running late, we request the team to notify the referee and opposition team that a fill-in player is being used. The fill-in player should be of equal skill to the division. It is both captains’ responsibly to agree on the fill-in player being used. Once a team’s regular player arrives, the fill-in player must discontinue playing.

2.8.    Any issue with player eligibility must be handled before or during the match. As soon as you notice an issue, notify the referee and the venue manager and/or team captains can resolve the issue immediately. It is very difficult to overturn a result once a game has finished. We suggest once the ball goes out with your team having possession to stop the game and get the venue manager to make a decision (Please do not let the game continue)

2.8.1 Any player/s who have been OFFICIALLY suspended by management and is found to be playing in our leagues or competitions during this period will see his / her suspension doubled or expulsion from all leagues or competitions indefinitely. 
 

3.     PAYMENT CONDITIONS

 3.1.    The game fee, as stipulated in the QUICK INFORMATION section of these terms and Conditions shall be determined by FOOTBALL FIX, this may change from time to time.

3.2.    The match fees are payable in full by the 3rd week of league.

3.3.    Payments can be made upfront online or via the shared payment functionality. By special arrangement we will allow payment via bank transfer.

3.4.    “Full league fee Of cash on the night” direct to league manager (not individual payments)

3..5.    A GST Tax Invoice will be issued if specifically requested by the team.

3.6.   Any leniency granted in this regard does not jeopardise our rights to claim this money in the event of non-payment.

3.7.  If the full match fee is not received after the 3rd week of the season, for any reason, FOOTBALL FIX maintains the right to implement the ‘No Pay – No Result’ procedure

3.8.  League Fees are not refundable; however should a suitable, paying replacement team be found management will be in a position to offer a refund.

3.9.  Any outstanding monies will be forwarded to a Debt Collection Agency for collection. Any collection costs charged by the Agency will not be the responsibility of FOOTBALL FIX and will be liable by the person who registered the team (Team Organiser / Captain). This is the last resort and will be actioned once the current season ends.

3.10.  The team captain / organizer is responsible for all team underpayments and match fee arrears.

3.11.  FOOTBALL FIX reserve the right to withhold any trophies and prizes from teams that have monies owing from debt accrued throughout ANY season(s).

4.     DRAWS & RESULTS 

4.1.    Draws & Results will be published on the website of the competition.

4.2.    All games will be confirmed via email / and or txt. There may be times that the draws will be delayed for reasons such as new rounds and semis/finals. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

4.3.    Game times change from time and thus while the entire season’s draw is on the website, management reserve the right to make week to week amendments, please wait for the automated e-mail reminder for your confirmed game time for the week.

4.4.    Management will endeavour to have results published within 12 hours after the game and will endeavour to have the correct draws displayed at least 4 days before play. 

5.     REFEREEING

5.1.    The captain is wholly responsible for his / her team’s conduct towards the referee.

5.2.    FOOTBALL FIX will not tolerate referee abuse and any infringement of the referees rights could lead to the guilty player being banned from the season with no refund

5.3.   Referees will be provided and the Referee’s decision is binding and final.

6.     UNIFORM

6.1.    All players must wear identical coloured shirts *

6.2.    Suitable footwear must be worn. Astro shoes are recommended but football boots with molded blades or molded studs are acceptable

6.2.1. No spikes, football boots (with removable sprigs), and boots with rugby style cleats or metal cleats are not allowed as they may cause damage to the artificial turf.

6.3.    Please see our website for a full list of the special usage rules for all synthetic pitches

6.4.    We will supply bibs for teams without matching uniforms, but we request teams to arrive as best they can in the same coloured uniform.

 7. COMPETITION FORMAT & RULES

      7.1.    Please adhere to the Playing rules as published on the FOOTBALL FIX website.

7.2.    In mixed 5 A Side games, 2 points will be awarded for a female outfield goals

7.3.    The season will consist of:

7.3.1. Grading rounds. These can range from as many as 1-3 weeks

7.3.2. Competition rounds. Usually 3-8 weeks but may vary due to team numbers

7.3.3. Semi-finals night. All teams play on this night

7.3.4. Finals. All teams play on this night

7.4.    Time slots will be 40 minutes (2 x 19min halves with a 1 min half time)

8.     DEFAULTS

       8.1.   If a team is absent for a fixture without giving proper notice the opposition shall be awarded the game.

8.2.    Defaults are taken seriously as this is not fair on the opposition, Referee or On-field Co-ordinator.

8.2.1 If a team defaults 3 times in a season FootballFix will consider removing the team from the remainder of the season and seasosnal ban or longer will be imposed on all players associated within the team..

8.3.    If your team is going to default a game you must give FOOTBALL FIX at least 1 days (24 hours) notice.

8.4.    If your team is unable to make the game on the day due to an unforscene circumstance the following MUST be done:
An email should be sent to the venue's email address no later than 8hrs prior to the leagues first game.

8.4.1 Complete NO SHOWS, or only a couple of hours (2) given will result in a FULL game game fee being added to your statement when the following occurs:
* We are unable to find a replacement team for the opposition
* You have hade multiple defaults in the season

8.5.    If your team is short of players, FOOTBALL FIX recommends your team show up for a friendly game regardless how many players are available. The Venue Co-ordinator/Referee will try to help find fill-ins. No team likes showing up to find they have traveled to the game to find no game at all, please be considerate. 8.6.    Please note: A team will be considered to have defaulted should they not field a team within the first ten minute period of the game.

8.7.    If your opposing team has defaulted, FOOTBALL FIX will arrange a friendly game and will award a 3 or 5 goal victory depending on the game format the circumstances. I.e No show or forfeited game 24hrs prior to the game etc... 

9.     POINTS SYSTEM 

9.1.    Points are 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss, -1 for continuously defaulting within the 24hr notice period

9.2.    Where leagues are decided by play-offs, but teams end on the same points. Final standings will be calculated the following way:

9.2.4   In all situations if the result is still a draw after each step has been applied, a toss of the coin will decide. 

10. FIRST AID 

10.1.  The On-field Co-ordinator will have a First Aid Kit for emergencies.

10.2.  It is the responsibility of the teams to provide their own strapping tape for pre-existing injuries.  

11. POSTPONEMENTS

11.1.  As the majority of competitions are played on the latest fully synthetic fields we will only postpone if there are extreme weather conditions (i.e Lightning). We do NOT cancel because of cold weather and rain. For our grass based venues we'll only postpone if the fields are going to be potentially waterlogged, closed by council or expected extreme weather (i.e lightning).

11.2.  Postponements will be communicated via text to the team organizers and an email to the league database. FootballFix will also put a post up on our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram)

12. DISPUTES/DISCIPLINE 

12.1.  Due to the social and fun nature of our competitions, protests and appeals are a rarity. Most matters can usually be dealt with without having to a formal procedure.

12.2.  An automatic two game suspension can be placed on any player who is ordered off the field by a Referee.

12.3.  Three blue cards awarded in a season against any one player can result in an automatic one or two game suspension.

12.4.  FOOTBALL FIX reserves the right to suspend any players or teams whose conduct is in breach of the spirit of the game. Teams who are involved in on or off field mass brawls with the opposition which cannot be contained will face expulsion from our leagues and may barred from future entry from any leagues, tournaments or events that we are associated with.

12.5.  Protests and appeals must be submitted within 24 hours of the completion of the game or 30 minutes in events where 24 hours is not applicable i.e. finals.

12.6.  Any issues with the management of the competition, grounds or other issues outside of general competition queries can be addressed to play@footballfix.co.nz , please also cc in your venues e-mail address http://footballfix.co.nz/venues/

13. PRIZEGIVING

13.1.  Prize-giving will be held after the finals on that respective night.

13.2.  Prize cards must be claimed within 6 months from date of issue. Any unlcaimed prizes will be classed as expired!

13.3.  Remember team members will only receive a prize if they are at the prize-giving!

14. HEALTH & SAFETY

14.1.  All participants understand that these events are contact sports and contain an element of risk to the person participating.

14.2.  FOOTBALL FIX takes care to select suitable and safe venues and able referees. But all participants agree and understand that FOOTBALL FIX does not own or have exclusive occupation of premises used for Competition Fixtures; has little or no control in respect of persons admitted to premises (including adjacent pitches and surrounding perimeters) during Competitions and have little or no control as to how premises are used and left before and / or after Competitions.

14.3.  Team Captains are responsible for ensuring that they do not allow their team Participants to commence a game until and unless satisfied that the surface and other conditions are safe for the activity in question having due regard to the characteristics of their team Participants.

14.4.  Participants must report to FOOTBALL FIX at the earliest opportunity any perceived dangers, violence (or threats of the same), or any other misconduct of whatever type.

15. LIABILITY/BREACH

15.1.  FOOTBALL FIX shall provide its services with reasonable skill and care and to a reasonable standard.

15.2.  In so far as FOOTBALL FIX is in breach of the agreement and the breach is capable of remedy, FOOTBALL FIX will use its very best efforts to provide a solution mutually acceptable to FOOTBALL FIX and the Participant.

15.3.  Notwithstanding the above, in the event of FOOTBALL FIX:

15.3.1.    breaching the agreement or committing any tort, including the negligence or negligent misstatement of its servant or agents; and / or

15.3.2.    being in any breach of any statutory or common law duty of care will have no liability to Participants save that FOOTBALL FIX will indemnify the Participant in respect of any death or personal injury caused thereby and in respect of which no limitation or exclusion is intended;

15.4.  Without prejudice to the generality of the above, in no event shall FOOTBALL FIX be liable for:

15.4.1.    any damage to property whether arising directly or indirectly from any breach or tort;

15.4.2.    loss of income, or profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings whether arising directly or indirectly from any breach or tort;

15.4.3.    loss or damage;

15.4.4.    any indemnity in respect of the items listed directly above.

15.4.5.    without prejudice to the generality of the above, the liability of FOOTBALL FIX for all the losses caused by a breach or tort giving rise to a claim shall be limited to damages of 3 times the total amount paid by the Participant to FOOTBALL FIX pursuant to the Competition in respect of which the breach or tort shall occur, and which both FOOTBALL FIX and the Participant have considered and agree is a reasonable sum given the respective positions of the parties and the types of direct losses likely to occur.

 16. OTHER 

16.1.  FOOTBALL FIX may subcontract the performance of any of its obligations under this Agreement to any person without notice. Where FOOTBALL FIX does subcontract its obligation under this agreement FOOTBALL FIX shall not be responsible for every act or omission of the sub-contractor.

16.2.  This Agreement shall not otherwise be assignable by the Team Captain without the prior written consent of FOOTBALL FIX. FOOTBALL FIX may assign this Agreement to any person.

16.3.  FOOTBALL FIX shall not be liable for any loss or damage cause by delay in the performance or non-performance of any of its obligations where the same is occasioned by any cause whatsoever that is beyond FOOTBALL FIX's reasonable control including but not limited to an Act of God, war, civil disturbance, un-preventable flood, failure or neglect on the part of any utility supplying electricity, gas or water, the unavailability of or the prevention of access to premises, governmental regulations, prohibitions or enactments of any kind, strike, lock-out or trade dispute (whether involving its own employees or those or any other person), difficulties in obtaining staff or materials, breakdown of machinery, fire or accident or loss of premises. Should any such event occur the FOOTBALL FIX may cancel or suspend the Agreement without incurring any liability for any loss or damages thereby occasioned.

16.4.  This contract shall be governed by New Zealand Law and shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of New Zealand Courts.  

17. RESPECT

17.1.  FOOTBALL FIX believes the game should be enjoyed by everyone involved

17.2.  Please show respect to officials, opposition, and spectators.
The decision of FOOTBALL FIX management in all matters pertaining to the administration of the competition is final

17.3.  FOOTBALL FIX management may overturn any rule if they feel a team is deliberately using an interpretation of the rules to gain an unfair advantage
